Sir Oakley Kill Count: 3
No one has died.
Storm was approached by another Paladin who requested his aid to clean out the Gardmore Abbey.
Sir Oakley may be old and tired, but he can occasionally be useful. He did offer the group several thousand gold to help, but Storm refused ANY payment on behalf of the group.
Both Luusi and Kora held their mouths open during the entire exchange.
Sir Oakley transported the heroes back to Winterhaven
Winterhaven looks bigger than before. Without the specter of death at every turn, people do quite well.
Aurelia is still alive and well. She has taken over Bairwin’s Grand Shoppe
Enna visited her cow.
Sir Oakley led the heroes to find a secret path behind the Abbey, allowing them to skip the main gate.
The heroes fought through many monsters. Kora netted several kills. “IS ANYONE WIRITING THIS DOWN?” she said while firing Eldritch Blasts at the nearest spider.
After cleaning out the top buildings, there were 2 obvious paths to take.
“So” Storm said “Do we want to go into the catacombs or the vaults?”
With some grumbling and a mighty sigh, the heroes voted and then pushed their way down into the catacombs, believing it to be, somehow, safer.
Sarius reassembled a tomb all by himself.
After fighting their way to a secret room, the party decided to rest for the night.
